A Tuscan Garden Romance

HUNTER & CHRIS

Location

Set among the rolling hills of Tuscany, La Torre sulla Via Francigena offered an intimate setting where history, landscape and authentic Italian beauty came together effortlessly.

The restored 12th-century farmhouse, surrounded by vineyards, greenery and open countryside, became the perfect backdrop for a celebration inspired by the warmth, colours and natural rhythm of Tuscan life.

Request

Hunter and Chris envisioned a wedding that felt less like a formal event and more like an intimate garden party shared with the people they loved most.

Their floral request reflected this relaxed and convivial approach: organic, joyful and naturally elegant, with abundant arrangements inspired by the surrounding countryside rather than overly formal or structured compositions.

Vision

Inspired by the sunlit Tuscan landscape, the floral concept was designed to feel fresh, vibrant and effortlessly refined.

White and golden-yellow blooms were combined with abundant greenery and citrus accents, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout the celebration.

Organic floral compositions framed the ceremony and reception without overpowering the natural scenery, while lemons, aromatic herbs and seasonal textures brought a distinctly Mediterranean character to the tablescape.

The result was a refined garden-party aesthetic: warm, convivial and deeply connected to the surrounding countryside.

The Event

Conceived as an intimate Tuscan garden celebration, the floral design unfolded naturally across the historic farmhouse and its surrounding outdoor spaces.

From the ceremony to the long family-style dinner, each setting was shaped through flowers, greenery and citrus details that reflected the energy and colours of the Tuscan countryside.

The open-air ceremony embraced the existing beauty of the venue. Organic compositions of white and yellow flowers framed the aisle and altar, while soft draped fabrics introduced movement and lightness without distracting from the landscape.

For the reception, floral arrangements extended along the tables in a spontaneous sequence of seasonal blooms, greenery, herbs and fresh lemons. Combined with crisp white linens, candlelight and natural wooden details, the design created a bright and inviting atmosphere for the shared Italian dinner.

Every element contributed to a celebration that felt elegant without being formal, joyful without being excessive and carefully designed while remaining completely natural.

The result was a floral landscape full of warmth, colour and Mediterranean energy — an intimate garden wedding where refined design and authentic Tuscan simplicity came together effortlessly.
